The App Store has many adventure games as of 2022. It’s hard to know which games are worth spending 10 dollars on, and which ones you will regret buying after 2 minutes of playing. So, I made a list of the top 5 adventure games available on the App Store. I guarantee you will never regret buying them.
1. Broken Age
Broken Age is one of the best point-and-click adventure games on the App Store. It’s a timeless game that can be switched from two different perspectives. It has an all-star cast including Elijah Wood, Masasa Moyo, Jack Black, Jennifer Hale, Wil Wheaton, and Pendleton Ward. Broken Age is available on iOS, tvOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, Xbox, Playstation, and the Nintendo Switch. Broken Age is no longer available on Google Play.
2. Sky: Children of the Light
Sky: Children of the Light is the best free adventure game on the App Store. It has amazing details and beautiful storytelling. The goal of the game is to find all of the spirits and return them to the “Elder Constellations”. COTL is available on the App Store, Google Play, Nintendo Switch, and soon Playstation.
3. Good Pizza, Great Pizza
Good Pizza, Great Pizza is a great story game that consists of 5 Chapters. The goal is the make the best pizzeria in town and stay with the times of the pizza. You also compete with various pizzerias throughout each chapter including Ambrosia, Alicante’s, and Big Data Pizza. Good Pizza, Great Pizza is available on the App Store, Google Play, Nintendo Switch, Amazon, and Steam.
4. Scribblenauts Unlimited
Scribblenauts Unlimited is a great adventure game for your creative outlet. You have the power to create anything from your magic notebook, to solve all problems you face. Scribblenauts is available on the App Store, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and Steam. (eShop was discontinued for 3DS and Wii U)
5. Minecraft Pocket Edition
Minecraft, (which you’ve probably heard of) is one of the best multiplayer mobile adventure games out there. You can play it with friends with different versions of Minecraft, as long as both versions are up-to-date. Minecraft Pocket Edition is a little laggy compared to Java or Bedrock on other devices. If you have a PC, I would recommend buying Minecraft there instead.
